Hesha started to change after temporarily living the commoner life with Jolene for a bit and finding self-worth instead of needing trash dad's recognition.
Faye was chasing an impossible dream so her crash was bound to happen eventually.

Diana has the status of a princess and political power behind it, outside of this marriage thing she doesn't really any problem in life.
But is she willing to toss all that away for freedom.
Or will Kelly at some point snap and brand Diana with the ring because fuck it she'd prefer execution rather than further humiliation at that point...then turns out the mark is not quite a slave mark.

That would be interesting if they have some unhinged royal custom of branding their partner. As in kelly is supposed to brand diana in return and that this ritual is how royalty of their nation propose. Doesn't make it any better but it would be interesting.

After calming down from my initial rage ,it may not be a slave mark and might have relavance in the story later to redeem her but fuck it , kelly thinks it is a slave mark ,the damage is done , the humiliation and hurt she feels is genuine, she literally feels so hopeless , aww my poor baby , she deserves someone better who makes her feel safe and cherished
