What do you guys think of changing this to her being one of the generals, leaving the demon lord still a mystery, this was his plan and nothing changes on how it was executed, but he remains in the shadows and could be anyone we've met so far, as an alternative path for the story

Delegating is all well and good, but you'd need a Demon Lord that is comfortable putting their very survival in the hands of one of their subordinates, and that said subordinate is loyal enough to not use their pet Hero to overthrow their old boss. I'm not sensing that level of trust or camaraderie out of the demons we've seen so far.

With this twist, It would make some sense. People you are that close to usually don't change so drastically without some signs. Unless they are brainwashed or a demon in disguised.

Im kinda annoyed that the MC is still clinging on the idea that his boo is not the big bad. Like yeah, I understand they're fkin, but his childhood friend who he knew for longer, before Lisa even showed up, told him outright "DO NOT TRUST HER" and what did he do?

I mean that doesn't make him dumb, denial is a pretty reasonable reaction to life altering events it was the love of his life someone he was planning to marry its not something you can just get over. I don't fault him for making 100% sure before first, also her being the big bad is a surprise to not just him at worse he was expecting her to be a liar not a full on demon.
