ranked manga reading holy. Like mf just read it or drop itI feel like this would be a much better story if the following happened:
- Ditch the romance, or wait until way later to even start considering it.
- Make the story about either of the two falling into tropes while the other mocks it and/or plays along. Sometimes it's the hero, sometimes it's the heroine.
- Less girly reactions to being turned into a girl. "I better be able to use magic, there's no way I'm killing the demon lord with these dainty-a$$ arms!"
- Commit to the bit one way or the other. Either they're forever bros and when they return it's just two guys who have fun stories to tell OR the one who became the heroine remains the heroine when they return back to earth (and the hero is on his side, laughing about it) if there is a romance that was started...
- OR even if there was no romance the and heroine remains a girl, we get a sequel about the two mocking each other and/or playing along with the slice of life tropes as an in joke (not even exclusively dating or pretending to date each other, they have their own respctive other partners they go through situations with). Maybe build up towards a massive 4th wall breaking joke where the two pretend to come out of a love hotel together and then mock the audience about expectations and congratulate the ones who were not shipping them, then end with the hero saying, "So, do this again next Tuesday?" and the other says, "Sure." And we never get a straight answer at the end of that joke.
Just saying, I feel like there's already elements of this "mock/embrace the trope and make it a comedy" and I would like to see more of those elements.

I made this at 4 am and was kinda pissy. But still my guy, you fucking did a whole analysis of this slop, and tried to make the author change up the ENTIRE story just because you don't like it. Like man just fucking find a manga you do like if you apparently dislike all these things about the story and characters. Then I guess these forums don't need to exist and no one should discuss the qualities of any manga (or book, or movie) ever, nor should anyone ever have an opinion.
Why are you even here? "Like mf just read it or drop it". No need to come to the comments section if you believe strongly enough to make that comment.
Way to be a hypocrite. You read too much into what I said (I didn't try to change the story, nor was that my intent—I know full well that authors don't read comments in Mangadex) and tried to make me change my mind about making a comment.I made this at 4 am and was kinda pissy. Not comparable btw. I am trying to tell you, that since you dislike essentially everything about the story, such as the characters and storyline, there is obviously no need for you to comment shit, as you just said, the authors don't read this so it's pointless for you the be doing all this typing and meticulous analysis of a romance slop manga. And also what comments man? I only see one comment on the forum.Way to be a hypocrite. Snark aside, yes, I made an analysis, I had criticisms, and I shared them in a way I thought best conveyed the criticisms I had. You don't have to like or agree with it, and I'm cool with you saying you don't like what I said and addressing the points I brought up.
But the more you try to say I shouldn't make the comment in the first place, the more I'll say you can just take your own medicine and not reply to my comment in the first place.
And it went over your head. Not comparable btw. Nah I just don't like you in general, you sound like a geek. No hate on your actual character and personality, but you're just typing in comment sections of some slop manga like it's a graded essay, and it pisses me off. (Also, because you type like someone that uses reddit)And it went over your head.
I never said I disliked everything. I found many flaws, and there's a big difference in that. Though, to be fair, I understand how you might think that since I didn't praise it. This story shows some potential to be great—in my opinion—but it falls short. I don't hate it.
I have some rhetorical questions for you.
Do you know what a comment section is for? To leave comments.
Do you know what this comment section is for? To leave comments related to Tensei Shitara Ore ga Heroine de Aitsu ga Yuusha Datta.
You know what my original comment is about (and to a lesser extent this comment since I mention my opinion of the story in it)? Tensei Shitara Ore ga Heroine de Aitsu ga Yuusha Datta.
Do you know what your comment is about? My comment.
You have less of a legitimate reason to comment than my initial post. From there, we're equally off target and you instigated it. It's just a manga, not your first born child. Get over it.
You don't have to like my comment or agree with me. I like free speech. I like more speech, not censored speech. I'm cool with you not liking what I said. I'm not saying don't reply. That's part of my standards.
But if you're going to get on your high horse and tell me to "read it or drop it" and imply I should not say anything if I'm not going to say anything nice because I only wrote criticisms, then I don't mind holding you to your own apparent standards. You had nothing nice to say, therefore, according to your standard, you should say nothing.
I don't do "rules for thee but not for me".
