Very fun that Metis just planned to "lose" the war because the goal was never to eradicate humanity but to make them as a people more careful about how they act towards eachother. Hell I'm sure she even worked to take the blame for all the humans who had been killed before the war broke out so the humans could more easily see themselves as one group going up against the AI threat.

I was wondering, how the hell did such an advanced AI lose to a bunch of cobbled together steampunk? Well, by throwing the match, of course! The goal was never actually to exterminate humanity, it was to teach them a lesson.

Aw, Erio is not going to be happy with Ange.
With the "A human about 3 months old" thought, I'm thinking Ange forgot/had her memory wiped at some point and is only now remembering.

Metis also doesn't seem to understand that once a clone has deviated from the orginal's experiences, they become a unique individual. Erio takes that several steps further by not retaining any of Metis's memories, and presumably only has a similar personality.
