Yeah i was a bit unsure of that myself but i think what she was saying is they found a further 6 as they cleared the nest and decided only 1 was actually worth saving, the rest must've been too fucked up...

i think it's mostly related to the mental state rather than the physical. They were probably already broken. Or maybe it was just too late for them either way, and healing them would've just been a waste. But well, i might be wrong

but if i think about it, they can handle minor mind broken with some skills to soothe the mind, if i recall they did it before or i'm just thinking of another manga, but it's more about their bodies being destroyed too much

Fuck man, if things were different Kuzuha would be one of our FMCs(and rightly deserved). Shiki should have been the one in Kuzuha's place, kinda fucked up you trip, and hold someone else back from surviving/escaping if only for some time later. Shiki deserved the burning hate gaze and curses that followed.
