Huh an actually pretty straightforward backstory even if the solution to it was over-the-top, making a military-grade-robot girl persona to simulate CGDCT anime. It explains a lot why Miruku☆chan looked so anxious all the time and specifically trying to push using first names. He's also got a constant blush now that we're seeing his real body (although oddly he seems more calm than when acting through the robot?)
Either way it makes his entry point into the main friend group kind of interesting. Because despite the class overall being p feminine, our core friend group rn is rather boyish besides Kitano. It tells me a bit that our robot pilot is subconsciously seeking healthy and secure friendships rather than matching his favorite cute girls anime in real life (whether he knows it).
Okay, so I know that I say this frequently but this is 🏳️⚧️, right?
At the very least, this is def like the biggest allegory we've gotten so far. I doubt he's going to stop coming to school as the robot, but I imagine the story is going to play it like he, the pilot, is a boy, and Miruku☆chan the robot (body and persona) is a girl. I'm p interested in how their behavior will change and how the group will treat them after this (outside of being nice and accepting).
