I'm not sure if he even got lethal damage from anyone. It just looks like he was either stalling or failed to take them down when going full power and this was just the result of the power he used. I think he just ran away mid battle to save Pars and to take a look at Pars one last time before moving to a place to die in peace.

He was killed decades ago saving his girlfriend and party, but the Priestess found and resurrected him immediately, so his party thought he survived his last stand. The final battle here burned out the last of the energy keeping him "alive", so his body turned to dust.

It's LHTranslation, they never have consistent names between chapters on any series.

I saw that (it was in .1 of this chapter, how he previously died), I'm referring to show how he ended his battle with the girls, he went full force with his power going THOUSAND EYES but when he decided to stop and let the girls go ... like maybe show him noticing the other guild master was in danger and go there, like he was winning over the girls, so when did he overuse his power??
also girlfriend? did we got confirmation that they were together, it gave more the feel like she there was only yearning
