An is very lucky Megu and Hina didn't ask where the cube came from.
Tried watching a tutorial.
Tee trick is simple, but I can't simply see what are the sides I need to move, I just can't visualize them in the right place. Impossible.
Any tips getting below a minute? I can't cut time below that :')PSA from a speedcuber:
The Emiya Shirou tactic of getting girls never failsOh no, so she got captured by the high jump, too.
MOYU works pretty well too for most beginning speed cubers I think!PSA from a speedcuber:
If anyone is tempted to make a dumb purchase after reading this chapter, consider just getting a GAN cube, or just any off-brand made for speed.
Those original ones are slow as hell and break really easy. If you get into it they quickly become paper weights.
Anyway looking forward to these two passing a 12 x 12 around the house after they become a couple.
The way I interpreted it is that she feels like he's growing and changing very quickly, which leaves her a little worried (and impressed too). That's why she starts solving the Rubik's cube, like she doesn't want to be left behindThose flashbacks from when Shunpei did the high jump... That was another instance of Shunpei working really hard at improving a skill specifically so he could show off to An. Is that the mental connection she made?
If so, doing the Rubik's cube herself is a way of finding out just how committed Shunpei is to impressing her, or, by extrapolation, just how much he is into her. It kind of connects her to him, like walking in his footsteps. Maybe I'm just being overly fanciful, but I figure the mind goes to strange places when you only get to meet your crush on the bus ride to and from school and you're too awkward to move things forward from there in a natural way. Places like "How much does he love me? I must know. And the only way to possibly find out is by solving this cube."
Or she really is just mad at the cube itself and solving it in an effort to assert dominance, but then what was the purpose of those panels relating to Shunpei's high jump?
At my childhood I did some sort of comprehensive IQ test. I get the result that among many categories my spatial skill is the worst (although iirc it's not even that bad). Since it alligns with what my brain assumed at the time, "I'm bad at spatial skills" has been one of my core assumption since. Thus I never tried cubic, that's one of my weaknesses afterall.I never bought cubic myself, but whenever I get a hold on one it really get me hooked up. never able to remember the last face solving step tho.
What's ur PB/Ao5 if i may ask? Always great to see a fellow speedcuber out in the wild. I avg 14.xx (sub15) with a pb of 9.5. I've been working on cross+1/Xcross recently, it's kicking my ass though.PSA from a speedcuber:
