This manga is similar to Shinjiteita Nakamatachi ni Dungeon Okuchi and Shokei Sareta Kenja wa Lich ni Tense. They all share that same 'kicked out of the party and betrayed to death' plot. I feel like this series has a lot of potential going forward :aquadrink:

well, so far so cliche but your party has a mage, just burn him to ash and have your priest purified him just in case.
Instead, you just decided to be like every hero ever, throw the MC into place he will survive and come out even stronger.

This seems familiar.
Let's see...
betrayed by "friends"? ✅
thrown into the abyss? ✅
get a huge power up? ✅
instantly gets a hot babe (edit: in a maid outfit) in the abyss? ✅
swears revenge on former friends? ✅
power related to gacha? ❌

Eh, close enough. Welcome back, unlimited gacha

Thought the same. So far, one of my favorite lowbrow revenge manga. It goes right into the revenge business and the villains are so cartoonishly evil.

This new one can be up my valley. It will depend on the pacing though.

I mean, I'll stick around for another chapter or two to see if it gets better, but I genuinely hate the whole 'MC gets betrayed by his party' trope. It's one of the most generic and overused cliches ever.

New trope: Party MC hero belongs to celebrates MC being so helpful taking down demon lord, they party so hard MC hero dies from alcohol poisoning, and the party gets a massive bounty on them and get taken out one by one while on the run. LN writers, get to work!
