that smile. that damned smile
Well for the context of this chapter, Yuuki got lost in his own negative headspace (p. 22), which is a consistent character flaw present in past events. That's why Niina was the one who phoned in help of the other three (p. 25).Honestly, I don't get why they just didn't ask for her help in the first place since she would probably have all the material at her home. And why both don't ask for her help on tips or just reviewing what they are doing since they are all part of the club.
I mean when he got his draft ruined and found the stores closed. Like I said, Koi-chan probably has everything they need at her home. And it's not like Yuuki and Niina didn't already consult with professional artists while being their assistants. I'm not saying they should go to Koi-chan's home get her help every week but show their drafts and ask for opinions not only on that but on ideas and such during manga club hours. What they even do in the club then?Well for the context of this chapter, Yuuki got lost in his own negative headspace (p. 22), which is a consistent character flaw present in past events. As for the "why not have Koi-chan help out more in general", I imagine that kinda ruins the whole point of achieving their goal of become serialized mangaka through their own efforts I guess? My take is that the challenge presented this series has always been an emotional one to overcome, which we see as our cast here continue to grow as characters, through their present flaws n' all
Kubo would pull that in under 2min... by not doing almost any backgroundTwo hours sounds realistic, for a pro of course XD

Uehara after that schedule:Ok so listen.
Koi-chan gets Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Miyamoto gets Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other sunday.
That's the only thing that's fair.
No.A broken water pipe, at this time of the manga production, at this time of day, in this part of the apartment, localized entirely over his workspace?
...
May I see it?
What no that couldn't happen no way thats crazy huh who would ever do that completely impossibleNow I wonder if Miyamoto will failto get serialized so author can stall the confession.
Good point! Your paying better attention to the small details than I hahaKoi-chan draws digitally. This was a minor plot point back when she was introduced: she wanted Uehara as an assistant but he had never done digital before, and at the same time Miyamoto got picked up as an assistant by an analog mangaka and she had similarly never done analog, so they had to teach each other the ropes.
Reminder of the last time a gyaru told herself she was going to confess for sure but did nothing for like 2 years of publication until the manga was at its final stretch. Now I wonder if Miyamoto will failto get serialized so author can stall the confession.
Poly ending is the real routeI'm sorry Author-san, but there's no way this ends without Uehara dating both. Both girls are too likable. He's a work-horse too, he can survive being turned into a husk.
This is non-negotiable.![]()
