"We need something for those bullied students and worked to death salarymen who are looking at the window and thinking this is it. Quick, to the self insert roulette of tropes!"

[kippgamer]

[Gringos]

“I can’t be seen here in this place anymore…”

The original webnovel appears to be https://ncode.syosetu.com/n5540kx/

[Iwashiii]

I was gonna read it but then the first chapter disappeared :I

[LupusVir]

Isn't this a rip-off of that one manga where the hero and sage are betrayed by the kingdom and executed after defeating the demon king? He also absorbs the miasma and becomes a lich and gets revenge.

Yes

[Nehona]

Yes

Do you have the title? Just curious to see how much of a ripoff it is.

Anyway, this manga seems kinda shit. I might give it a few chapters, maybe. I'm also curious to see if it will go the ultra gory and rape-y way, as these things usually do...

That's "The Executed Sage Who was Reincarnated as a Lich Started an All-Out War"
https://mangadex.org/title/c466ced0...h-ni-tensei-shite-shinryaku-sensou-o-hajimeru

But the entire opening of the 1st chapter, from the betrayal, showing that there are 8 heroes that are betraying the MC, and that they then fatally wound him and thrown him into a giant pit (dungeon) seemed like a exact rip off of:

"Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Party Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to an Infinite Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge"
https://mangadex.org/title/790f5f8d...rekaketa-ga-gift-mugen-gacha-de-level-9999-no

They've just replaced the gacha system with necromancy.

[GraniteNinja]

it's more like a loose pile of cliches than a actual story...

[Darroth]

I always wonder how manga like this gets written. Is the mangaka super cynical and proposes the most derivative slop possible? Is he just new and the editor orders him what to write?

[KuroZer0]

Wow, that’s an interesting story….
Wait a minute…
That’s the f@cking title!!!
