I'm kinda unsure if this novel even counts as R18, 'cause the sex scenes aren't described in detail at all.
Basically the story focuses on this pretty abnormal relationship between Shunta and his childhood friends. There's no real romantic feelings between them, they just like and care about each other as childhood friends. The problem is, their relationship doesn't stop at normal childhood-friend closeness. Summary Light Novel Volume 2 Part 2
While the relationship between the three childhood friends keeps getting more abnormal, Kanon stays serious about her goal of entering the photo contest. Shunta and Maria give various suggestions about places that might be good for taking photos.
One of the places they choose is Kanon’s old house. The house isn’t lived in anymore and is now just used as a storage.
Shunta, Maria, and Kanon go into the old house together. The three of them walk around while remembering the past because they used to play there a lot.
But in the middle of that, Maria suddenly disappears somewhere.
Kanon then accidentally finds a box in her old room. Inside is the Yurimiya School junior high uniform she used to wear. Kanon immediately changes into it and shows Shunta how she looks in that uniform.
Seeing Kanon with a different appearance than usual makes Shunta kiss her right away. Their closeness continues until the two of them have sex in Kanon’s old room.

That licking gave me some Lick flashbacks. I remember hearing there was a school trend in Japan where people would lick their friends eyes, very unsafe.

I'm a little concerned with how much material is just being shoved from one part of the story to another. Doesn't show much respect for the source in taking these liberties so quickly.
Same author. Afterword in first volume hints at a shared universe.

Shunta's bedroom door suddenly opens. Maria, his childhood friend, walks straight in and invites him to hang out like the room belongs to her too. They've known each other since they were kids, but their relationship drifted apart for three years. Lately they've gotten close again and started acting like they used to.
Maria is a tall girl, around 173 cm, pretty face, and seriously huge chest. Just her appearance already stands out, and the way she acts around Shunta has zero shame. Seeing her barge in while showing off that tempting body, Shunta immediately scolds her for coming without permission.
Maria doesn't think she's doing anything wrong. In front of Shunta she even openly admits she's a pervert and plans to keep training her charms with his help. Since she keeps saying dirty stuff, Shunta tells her off and says their conversation is making him look dumb too. Maria gets mad at being called dumb, but the way she vents that anger is by inviting Shunta to do something dirty.
According to Maria, doing dirty things with Shunta really helps her emotional state. Afterward she can sleep soundly, and any anger or sadness just disappears. Until now Shunta thought Maria almost never got sad because she always looked cheerful every day. But Maria reminds him there was one thing that really hurt her, when Shunta stayed away from her for three whole years.
That makes Shunta feel guilty. He apologizes for those three years. Maria accepts the apology and kisses him on the lips. This time she says she'll forgive him with just a kiss.
Actually that day Maria was supposed to go home because her grandma called her. Grandma owns the traditional inn Watagase and is training Maria as the future successor. But the training got canceled because some customers checked in, so Maria ended up with free time.
Shunta reminds her again not to just show up out of nowhere. They're adults now, so at least message him first before coming over. Instead of feeling bad about it, Maria straight-up invites him to have sex.
Shunta's already used to how blunt Maria is. She even points out that even though he usually refuses at first, once they start he gets into it and enjoys it. In other words, even though Maria looks like a proper girl on the outside, deep down she's super perverted. Shunta's not that different either, even if he looks like a quiet guy.
Since Shunta still won't go along this time, Maria just lies down on his bed. Her skirt rides up, but she doesn't care at all that her underwear is visible. When she notices Shunta looking, she even tells him to just grab her chest if he's interested.
While holding her chest, Shunta reminds her about the upcoming midterm exams. Maria immediately rebels and doesn't want to study. But Shunta manages to convince her by promising to help her study for the exams.
In class, almost everyone already knows Maria and Shunta are childhood friends. The problem is Maria doesn't care about the people around them and often talks openly about their dirty relationship.
Kisaragi, another girl friend of Shunta's, often tries to explain the situation to the others so people don't get the wrong idea. Unfortunately, every time Kisaragi comes up with a reasonable excuse, Maria says something way worse and ruins all of Kisaragi's effort.
Besides Maria, Shunta has another childhood friend named Kohinata Kanon. In the previous volume their relationship already progressed to the point where Kanon let Shunta kiss her.
That situation started because Maria wanted to bring their childhood-friend group back to how it used to be. Maria doesn't mind Shunta doing dirty stuff as long as the girl is one of their childhood friends.
Kanon is actually a lot more normal than Maria. She often refuses or scolds the abnormal relationship between Shunta and Maria. But she has a weakness, she's really easy to influence by the atmosphere and what other people say. So even though she refuses at first, she often ends up joining whatever Maria and Shunta are doing.
Before the midterms, Kanon decides to help Maria study. She figures if Maria only studies with Shunta, he won't be able to be strict with her.
They gather in a room called Yaru Beya, short for a room where they can do whatever they want. There Kanon tries to force Maria to study seriously. But Maria sets a condition: she'll study if they take a bath together first.
Not just Kanon, of course Shunta gets invited too.
They end up going to one of the onsen in another building of the Watagase inn complex. Shunta already has a towel covering his sensitive parts. But when Maria walks in completely naked, he's shocked.
Maria casually says he's already seen her whole body, so there's no reason to cover up. Shunta still scolds her and finally manages to get her to at least use a towel.
Kanon joins them wearing the special clothes used in public baths. In that atmosphere Shunta can't help looking at both his childhood friends' chests. Maria easily goes along with it, and with her encouragement Kanon, who was shy at first, also gets carried away and shows her chest to Shunta.
Only after bathing do the three of them actually start studying for the exams.
Their effort pays off. After the midterms, Shunta and both childhood friends get pretty decent results. None of them scored below average.
With exams over, Maria invites Shunta and Kanon to hang out by the river for the break.
Since Maria's house is close to Shunta's, the two of them head to the river together. Kanon, who lives farther away, comes later. She brings a big bag with a tent and camping gear.
Even though she brought all that stuff, they don't actually plan to stay overnight by the river. They just want to play until they're satisfied and go home in the evening. After that Kanon plans to stay over at Maria's place.
As soon as they arrive, Maria tells Shunta and Kanon to change into swimsuits. As usual she even suggests the three of them change inside the same tent.
In the end Shunta is just told to turn his back so he doesn't peek while the girls change. But then Maria and Kanon start arguing and comparing their body shapes. Their conversation makes Shunta turn his head on reflex. When they warn him, he quickly looks away again.
After changing they play in the river. Shunta and Maria even throw Kanon into the water again, just like they used to when they were kids. That moment makes the three of them remember the days when their relationship was still really close.
But Shunta's stamina can't keep up with Maria and Kanon. After playing for a while he goes back to the tent to rest and ends up falling asleep.
When Maria and Kanon finish playing they return to the tent and find Shunta sleeping. They start changing there. But Maria quickly realizes Shunta is actually awake and just pretending to still be asleep.
Shunta finally gets up. Instead of getting mad at him for pretending to sleep while they changed, Maria tells him to touch Kanon's chest. The situation inside the tent turns into a dirty game between the three childhood friends.
On a holiday when Maria has some business related to the Watagase inn, Kanon invites Shunta out to the city just the two of them. There they run into Kanon's friends from Private Yurimiya School.
Her old friends are surprised by how much Kanon's appearance has changed, especially since her hair is now dyed blonde. Seeing her walking with a guy, they immediately assume Shunta is her boyfriend. But Kanon quickly explains he's just a childhood friend.
The Yurimiya School girls rarely get the chance to interact with guys. That's why they immediately get interested in Shunta. Some start teasing him, inviting him out, even asking for his phone number.
Seeing Shunta surrounded by her girl friends, Kanon steps in right away. She pulls him away saying they still have important things to do together.
On the way, Kanon and Shunta happen to run into Kisaragi who's just coming back from a bookstore. Kisaragi then tells them about a situation from a light novel she read: a guy and a girl are on a date, it suddenly rains, and they end up staying the night at a love hotel.
Of course Kanon and Shunta have no intention of copying that story.
Ironically, after parting ways with Kisaragi, part of what she just described actually happens. Rain suddenly pours down and soaks them, so they have to find shelter. The difference is they don't go to a love hotel, they go to a net café. They rent a private room and borrow towels to dry off.
Inside that small room the atmosphere gets dirty again. Shunta sees Kanon's underwear, but instead of getting mad she actually lets him look if he wants to. They end up kissing in the net café. Even though they don't go further, things get pretty heated until Shunta has to remind Kanon not to make too much noise.
During that time Shunta also decides to share one of his personal secrets. He actually wants to become a novel writer. Until now only Maria knew about that dream, but now he wants Kanon to know too.
Meanwhile, the secret about Shunta and Maria's relationship is probably already known by Maria's mother and grandmother. Maria's mother even wants Shunta to quickly have kids with Maria so there's a new successor for the Watagase inn.
Shunta doesn't share his secret for no reason. He realizes Kanon is also hiding something from them. By revealing his own secret first, he puts Kanon in a position where she kind of has to share hers too.
Kanon finally explains why she didn't continue at Yurimiya School even though it has high academic standards. She wants to enjoy her youth and has a goal of entering the Natsu Emo photo contest.
On another occasion Shunta is alone with Maria again in the Yaru Beya. Since the room is in her own house, Maria only wears very revealing clothes. She even got scolded by her grandma before for wearing something like that in the main inn building.
As usual, their time in the Yaru Beya ends with dirty activities.
After they're done and Maria puts her clothes back on, she still doesn't stop teasing Shunta. She forces him and climbs on top of him. Without them noticing, Kanon takes a photo of that moment.
