Hmmm.....the panelling makes me think it's going to be a new character because of the detail he got though really it's hard to tell what's going to happen with this series anymore, it's become pretty removed from it's OG version.

Yep had the same thought and added to my comment (there is much similarity between them. Referring to chapter 1 around page 15). Maybe he did it extra to not blow up his cover. Funny thing is that Agawa didn’t saw it either. In the panels she is turned to Gotou and Shige, not noticing him behind her, and in the next one, where he passes them, her eyes are closed.

It kinda tracks though, we've basically had an arc of Agawa trying to figure out her feelings for Gotou while Gotou goes sex crazy so now we need to see Gotou considering what he wants from Agawa.

This guy correct?, hell in this pannel we have Yuki and Inukai and Takeda has used characters that appeared as background and became important (See Shigemi), However he seems to react to what Gotou says.

After a quick Google translate of the 3 pages seems:

1. Gotou is still saying that he will fuck them, Agawa says no and that she sould go, Shige seems to accept Gotous offert, the two girls start bickering and Gotou says in the last panel that 2 girls are fighting for him.
2. Shige ask for a starbucks and Agawa seems to want as well, Shigemi says that Gotou is arrogant Agawa agrees.
3. Last page is Gotou essentialy saying that she will treat them to one.

My crack theory is that this guy, is related to Gotou's past since he seems to react to Gotou's last words, while ignoring Agawa completly. Since there is the "mystery" of why Gotou stoped playing baseball and that Takeda is married to Gotou's POV could be more interesting.
And honestly Gotou need some character development.

Them making fun of him and Shige poking fun at Agawa liking him by implying she'll do something when he gets his energy back if she doesnt is probably the only proper way for the chapter to end on a positive fun note. Shige is a good character. She's cheeky and not a 'rival' like Akito or president (and President is not a traditional rival). She's already said she's fine with losing a sex friend, and realistically her and Gotou have only did it on two occasions (she doesn't even really define herself to him in that way), and her compliments to him have always been specifically to be cheeky to Agawa.

Looking forward to reading the rest whenever it's translated and by something other than my Gemini tokens

I guess that Agawa will hook up with him and Gotou will notice it (or Shige will notify him indirectly to make him jealous) and cock block him like he did on Inuaki around chapter 13-16.

I think this is needed more than anything, he's been roughly stagnant or in a downward spiral since he had sex with Akito and we know next to nothing about him, like I said earlier in this thread about him being defined in relation to Agawa and Akito rather than because of himself.

And it would be earnest drama which again, we haven't really had since Agawa and him at the hotel when they came back from summer break.

To me it doesn't even have to be a jealousy arc, to be dramatic.

For one we don't know for shure if Agawa is back to "normal", even if she said that she fucked two guys I take it with a grain of salt, since that entire chapter Agawa was being really indirect. For seconds even if she is back to "normal" Agawa doesn't seem to care about his sex friends (Gotou beeing an exeption). Also another jealousy arc?, I mean we have Inukai and Erika (Whom Agawa hasn't told Gotou that their relationship is fake btw) who had entire arc to them and Yuki and the guy that Shige recomended to Agawa by the end of the Akito arc.

If I had to guess maybe Gotou's past is kinda like Ryuji from P5, as in he did something wrong and either his ex teammates hate him or he retreated because of it, this could bring drama and character development for Gotou and maybe even give us closure for Akito, since she kinda has become an onahole for Gotou.

So, Gotou got cocky again due to him misunderstanding the reason Agawa and Shige fight for him. That smells bad news for his mental state in the future.

It feels more playful than anything else, and it isn't a complete misunderstanding, Gotou is offering sex and Shigemi says that she would and Agawa starts bickering with her. (Also it is a somewhat crude translation so it could change when Chekov translates it).

tbh it feels that both girls kinda undertand that Gotou is currently a mess and they are trying to keep him in check.

Also Agawa since their alone chapter seems to be more understanding towards Gotou so idk.

From Chapter 35 onward, the main character doesn't seem to care who Agawa sleeps with anymore. However, when Akito is about to be taken away by Inukai, he goes completely insane and takes revenge on Inukai, even stating that she is the only one who must not be touched. It would be totally absurd if the manga ends the same way as before; there must be at least a harem ending
