Mahjong is not special enough to me to hate it, I am indifferent to it, never played it in my life.

I mean, at the end of the day, it's essentially the HarryXDraco shipping fanfics of yore all over again, specifically one where Draco's born as a female right at the start. The reverse (Draco x female!Harry), BL, and Yuri versions also existed long before the trend, but that's another topic altogether.Well, when you get around 25k-30k fanarts, there's going to nsfw fanarts, sure, the driving factor of the trend is yearning but there is always going to be outliers, it's not exactly like how Bowsette trend was, that was just porn-fueled mess. Rewriting of the story to be better is so much more fun than just making stupid porn.
Could've sworn the Fate crew was more into hanafuda, I remember the last time I played hanafuda was when I was 100%-ing Realta Nua, before the guys over at mm got their patch out.
Ig people of all genders generally like the same things, but have trouble perceiving it as what they like when it's done in a person they don't feel attracted to.I mean, at the end of the day, it's essentially the HarryXDraco shipping fanfics of yore all over again, specifically one where Draco's born as a female right at the start. From my perspective, it's like watching people rediscover some ancient text buried deep within an ancient city, a place of which was abandoned by the people who once called it their home and left because they chose to hate its founder, watch them give it a brand new face/makeover, and watch as they excitedly reclaim it as their own... which, knowing that it was a heterosexual pairing version that they're running with, it probably already was "theirs" to begin with.
I think it says more about the state of Western media about why there's some tints of political back-and-forth with the trend. Meanwhile, most folks from the East just see the trend as it is, a trend. I mean, I don't see Saeki Shun (Menkui!, Shokugeki no Souma) writing doujins/fanfics about it when he made his contribution to the trend.
Nah, it's more like a shepherd guiding the flock to the abattoir. The only difference is they're not sacrified immediately, they cry and lure more victims and even predators into it. It's just before they start dispersing they reuse it for the following trend.I mean, at the end of the day, it's essentially the HarryXDraco shipping fanfics of yore all over again, specifically one where Draco's born as a female right at the start.
