I can understand this. I don't expect it to be saved by any means but it would just be nice for a better closure then where it just does the cutoff through the camera. In the end this is a film that they're doing, not some straight NTR play to feed some sudden fetish Shinobu has developed is how I see it.

From how I see it, the only way an epilogue could work is if it takes place before the filming of the movie. It's too weird for Shikura's first interaction in 5 years to happen during the filming. I think that way the scene could be “better”.
Their meeting on set wasn't the first, they've likely met off screen with their teams to discuss the pre-shoot/script. Way too many things were off-screened because the manga got hit with with axe so it can't be helped, but it really did give all the wrong vibes in that ending.
I bet you anything the epilogue will be very similar to chapter 48.5 of Soredemo 🤣 Maybe everything that happened during that time skip of several years, where we see Shinobu distance himself from Fumi and how his career as a director takes off, on the other hand we see Sakura doing sex scenes and having many nights of sex with Fuckboi, but she still feels empty inside, besides also having milk in her uterus🤣🤣 so she ends her relationship with Fuckboi and starts missing Shinobu, which is why she wears the necklace again. But she can't get close to him again because of the guilt and remorse, and also because she thinks he's in a relationship with Fumi.
You're wrong. All of Sakura's success is thanks to Shinobu, since as an independent manager, not belonging to any agency, he got her many important roles in movies and series, and he always made sure she was safe, even saving her from debuting in JAVs.

Bit of creative pessimism doesn't hurt, there is the possibility. I think they'll keep it simple though, if it's more fucboi then it'll be a 129.5, if it's an epilogue+ angle, it'll be more wholesome.
I think another intent for the story was to also show the darker side of the Gravure industry since it's so sex heavy.
