Spica's Smiles: As the cover art suggests, Spica wears a mask most of the time. She's like an always smiling convenience store clerk. But for the convo with grandma at the end of the previous arc, we were seeing her real expressions. And it may be that's she's giving a real smile to this guy too. So she might be vulnerable to this guy - and maybe that's what grandma is worried about.

Lol I wouldn't expect the kids I knew to contribute much bc school projects sucks but other than some stage presentations it's a shame we never did any of these things in my school (and prom was more romantic leaning and charged I would've rather hung out with a group of friends after school in a normal

Setting), altho legality aside I wonder if some teachers ever had kids sell stuff other than food/charge a high price as a side hustle for things lol

I think grandma's gonna be suspicious but it's all gonna end up cleared up and okay in the end. None of these people really mean ill for one another.

Idk if it's the art style but he does look similar to his cousin? So maybe the granny's just looking cautiously bc he (cousin) is a cop lol

Yeah he first showed up in chapter 10

His whole thing was that he's a poser chuuni who thinks being a murderer would be cool but he's actually a nice guy

His whole thing was that he's a poser chuuni who thinks being a murderer would be cool but he's actually a nice guy

He also had a cool moment of solving the case with that murderous prison guard back in chapter 25, so he's actually an impressive detective in the making despite his chunni behavior.

On page 11... Tohakari had that look... like he realized something. He looked at Tsumugi's deceased family, but didn't say a word about it. It is not the first time he notices something, but then acts like normal, as he did that during the prison idol arc as well.

Im gonna go against the grain here and think that grandma does hope things work out for both of them and only looks like that cause author wanted suspense

She was sorry for making her worse in prev chap, hopefully its in a "will try and let you live a normal life from now on after this" type of remorse
