cut the guy some slack, this is miles better than some horrible snipes ive seen wherein its straight up MTL and MS paint level of edited.

“It could be worse” doesn’t make anything suddenly good, and cutting slack just because it’s at least not MTL means no incentive for improvement though.

man you guys dont know how to appreciate good TL, no wonder people pay wall shit because ungrateful fcks like you thinks the world owes them masterclass translations. If youve ever translated any manga youd know horrendous scans from Good ones and this one is a masterpiece compared to shameless beggars using MTL to translate manga with lazy efforts. You guys have been spoiled too much that you dont know actual dog shit scans from good ones.
After chapter 50, I promised people on /a/ that I would provide quick translations of new chapters, at least until the situation with scanlators settled down (that was before asinthe showed up).
I did those TLs as fast as I could, as soon as the raws became available. It's true that they contain errors, but I actually provided all the necessary corrections and clarifications after the typesetting was done and I had a chance to reread everything more carefully. Some of those mistakes were then corrected by the typesetter, while others were not. I didn't insist, as this was never really meant for aggregator websites.
I'm not sure what was the point of posting this here, but whoever did it could have at least used the corrected pages. I mean all you had to do was scroll down a bit...

As a translator (though no longer active) myself, I disagree with this sentiment. People shouldn't treat translating as a place to learn/hone their Japanese/English, and actually do it when they have sufficient competency to do so. I've had the displeasure of trying to clean up the mess of incompetent so-called translators before who only went by what they picked up on from watching anime. Otherwise they do disservice to people reading who might struggle to understand or worse, misunderstand stuff due to mistakes in translations or wrong portrayals/nuances, and disservice to the mangaka if readers then think the plot was bad because of the misunderstandings etc. Not saying this is what happened here (as i'm checking comments first to understand why there's these other uploads for chapters asinthe had done), but I don't think it's right to accept any and every work no matter the level of quality just because it isn't MTL.
