I have come to love these chapters. I don't know when I shifted toward liking the "rest" arc, but I'm glad it exists. Realistically, Ippo went from bullied to non-stop getting his head bashed in. So, this level of rest is warranted. I can only hope it pays offs when he finally gets in the ring.

I have begun to love these chapters that introduce more of ippo's skills he's developed during his "rest". I can't wait for him to get into the ring, but I like seeing the build up to justify his growing toolkit. Morikawa has officially broken me.
