This manga is absolutely comedic gold, and does a great job of weaving the various plot lines of the light novels into something that works in a visual medium. Well worth your time.
I'm enjoying the translator notes more than I probably should. And "Country Roads" made me laugh out loud when I first saw it, and again when I found out you were just winging it. Kudos!
@saitoh514 I haven't read the web novel, so it may be different there. But in this manga... if you swap the boxes for heating/cooling with quenching, then you have a very simplistic view of the process. He doesn't get into annealing at all, and god knows where a blacksmith in the forest is...
