Why do you people keep insisting on uploading the official English translation on Mangadex?

As you can see here, and I don't know why you cut it out from your image, it IS Ryou-chan. That's either her real name and Suzu is her nickname, or it's the other way around (涼 can be read as either, but Mamami SPECIFICALLY calls her Ryou-chan). As for Manami and Chii-chan, yeah, it's not really...
No, the main characters are Chii-chan (black-haired girl) and Ryou (the light-haired girl). Manami is the girl who Ryou started dating. There aren't any boys involved here. How do I know? I bought the anthology myself.
Basically, the story here is:
Chii-chan, the black-haired girl, is in love with Ryou, the light-haired girl. However, Ryou got herself a girlfriend (Manami) before Chii-chan could make her move. Ryou was supposed to have a date with Manami, but before that could happen, Chii-chan stopped Ryou...
Just so people know, this translation is pretty much a rewrite. The "boyfriend" here is actually a girl named Manami. This "translator" has no idea what they're doing.
Yes, inject that drama straight into my veins!
On a more serious note, though - people seem to underestimate the effect of rushed out machine-translated manga on the longevity of a series. If a trashy translation gets pushed out faster than an actual one, that is an almost guaranteed death knell...
Let me just point out that the other scanlation, while it has good typesetting, has a number of subtle phrasing issues. I guess it's better to say that the problems stem more from phrasing than from accuracy. It's fine to prefer a literal translation, but that's simply not how we roll.
I'd also...
@Lee-Nyan
As much as I'd like to help you with this, I'm just the translator for this project. I'm learning TS too, but I still have a lot to learn, especially with handwritten SFX. Sorry about that...
