Honestly I really hate the font used for the text messages here. There’s no need to have different fonts for different text boxes unless the raws do. The raws do have bold font in the text messages but that’s not as drastic as a difference as it is with an entirely new font. That being said...
Honestly based mangaka for being honest that he was out of ideas for this premise. I love all the stuff he puts out so I’m looking forward to whatever’s next. Thanks for the TL!
Get rid of Penjamin, add nipples, and give me 10 volumes. Joking aside this is really good but I’ll never understand the purpose of adding annoying mascot characters. Cute ones sure but no one is going to buy a Penjamin plushy.
This really just seems like a bootleg mato seihei. The art is worse, the fan service is non-existent, and the girls are harem tropes if they were written by someone who hasn’t read manga since the mid-2000s. Why does this exist?
Yeah that was really my only gripe with this manga. It felt like the author was told to/wanted to try to add some drama to the story by introducing a rival but then immediately backpedaled. Dunno if the Japanese fans rioted or something but it was weird how she was just instantly irrelevant.
This one was… not good? Both the art and writing were kinda bad. It’d be one thing if it was some twitter comic but this was published and officially translated.
This translation just seems to be worse, stilted and too 1:1 with the dialogue bubbles. I’m all for correcting a bad translation but the one we already had was better than this
That’s a really weird place to stop, even for a oneshot. You literally only need one more page with something like “I saw a future I don’t want to change”
