Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life - Ch. 48

Funny, it had escaped me that this is the first SuNday scans upload on Mangadex because we aren't uploading 100 Girlfriends here anymore. In fact, I guess this is the only SuNday scans series going up here right now. The long and short is that XuN, the actual person who started the group and...

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life - Vol. 9 Ch. 41

Aiha. The instance of Airi was a typo in the Japanese that I didn't have the presence of mind to catch. Thanks for noting that, it's been fixed.

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life - Vol. 8 Ch. 38

It had been monthly its entire run, but until now, each chapter was posted all at once a single time every four weeks or so.

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life - Vol. 8 Ch. 38

This chapter was pushed back a good number of weeks largely because the series moved to a half-chapter every two weeks model. We've elected to wait until the full chapters are available before posting anything. The next chapter shouldn't take quite as long.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - Ch. 187 - Rentarou's Family's Brand New Bancho

Your first observation is correct, the Japanese school year cut off is April 2nd. Saki is literally a single second off from having been the oldest of the next school year, but being born April 1st, she was the youngest of her actual school year.

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life - Vol. 6 Ch. 30

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - Vol. 20 Ch. 172 - The Slender Lady—Pigtails—Pajamas Combo Chapter

You're overthinking it. Ahko is saying she likes 100 Girlfriends because it's not a difficult manga, and in response, Kurumi says "You'd have to be smart to write a difficult manga." Meaning, because 100 Girlfriends isn't difficult, its writer must not be smart. There are certainly deeper...

Dragon and Chameleon - Ch. 20 - The Greatest Manga of All Time

I understand where you're coming from and all, this is clearly something you've spent a lot of time thinking about, but I suppose I'd say that it's worth bearing in mind that language is a malleable, living thing. What a word means today isn't necessarily what it's going to mean in a year, or a...

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - Vol. 19 Ch. 160 - Give a Taste to Me Yakisoba

I don't think that's entirely true, and this chapter demonstrates exactly why. Mimimi, Hakari, and Rin assume from her gothic lolita clothing that she would be like them, and conduct herself in a graceful and refined manner (in as much as that's applicable to the aforementioned three). Matsuri's...

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - Vol. 19 Ch. 159 - The Gothic Lolita Festival Girl

This is stated as though it's self-evident why it's ill-advised, or wrong, or simply something that shouldn't be done, but I'm afraid I'm not grasping why. Let me, for the sake of example, bring up Ahko and gyaru characters in general. These characters have a "distinctively" Japanese way of...

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Vol. 5 Ch. 23

I know. I guess if I wanted to use a more natural expression with the connotation I laid out, it could be something like "I'm not the type to stay in one place" or "I'm not the type to dwell." I don't think the literal expression is completely nonsensical, but I'm aware it's far from common...

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Vol. 5 Ch. 23

I don’t feel like “optimistic” is necessarily an appropriate 1-1 English expression in this context. The conversation has less to do with aspirations/hope for the future and more to do with moving on/forward, rather than dwelling on the past or staying in place. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to...
