Gotta wonder... was there some sort of plot behind why depictions of the "dawn witch" are so different from reality? I know the explanation we have so far is "everyone decided she'd look Like That on their own" but to some degree I feel it might be a deliberate attempt to bury her... maybe we'll...
Ugh, his mom really is the root of all evil here. Not just trying to secure her child as heir, but actively taking away things that make Bernadetta happy. Regardless, I'm eagerly looking forward to the moment Sauri's worldview is utterly crushed.
... this feels a bit like where an axe would fall... but considering they just set up a true mastermind for Violet's mother's death, that can't be the case, right?
Either way I still really like these three as a trio. Poor Claude, though. Lol
I think it's great that you're willing to give the story I was talking about the benefit of the doubt- because obviously my account is going to be biased and thus leave out certain information- but I want to clarify that in context they were very much talking about the food's flavour.
"I wish the authors had researched the food and tech more" is a complaint that applies to like 99% of isekai that involves any sort of recipe inventing. Authors always seem to assume that everyone in the past was just stupid or something and never experimented with food. Or, even worse, that...
Oh thank god, glad she recognizes that regardless of her feelings towards this other girl, "I want to monopolize this guy" and "I want to get away from this guy" means they have the same goal so she's willing to help out.
Thank you for picking this up!
I'm willing to bet that Nate's an agent sent by someone to steal their recipes and they're threatening his family to get him to comply.
"Hey so what should we do for the epilogue of this series? A glimpse into the future of the main characters as monarch? Maybe we could answer some questions about the original Miranda and why she gave up her body?"
"Nah let's just throw in some random bullshit"
"Weren't you the one who raised me like this? I'm just giving them what I went through"
The amount of times I've wished for a character to say this to their shitty parents... Go Carla go!
