They're correct for the latter half. Nagai is known for perverted and ultraviolent stories, as this is a gag manga, it mixes all kind of elements. Gore is milder with this one compared to Harenchi Gakuen or Abashiri Ikka.

As a histori fact: the original publication of the novel was banned shortly after its release in 1909. Though the story doesn't feature any direct sex, it was meant as a means to raise awareness of the necessity of sex education.
