This is so sad, Uichi didn't mean to hurt Yotsuha but who can blame her for crying?
What miserable psycho orchestrated this? Uichi was completely innocent, he didn't deserve any of this.
Not really a fan of misunderstands that are easily fixed, but I think the MC's concern is so sweet! Even though it scares him, he tries his best to find out all he can and even suggest going to a trusted adult.
I get the disdain, I'm just a sucker for brave scaredy-cats
Plus it's teaching the bully that the abusive behavior they grew up with is acceptable, dooming her to repeat her family's violence.
But punishing bad behavior is too hard, I guess 🫠
It's so weirdly irritating that Aki only has a single chair and not a couch. Girl, forget your aesthetic, go to IKEA and get yourself and potential guests something to relax on ffs
Two years late to the party, but I loved this story so much because it remembered that it's supposed to be about the villainess, not some rando playing too many self insert fantasies. Her anger at the prince was so refreshing, what a satisfying takedown.
That said, it was a real brutal takedown...
It kind of bothers me the way Aki dismissed her friend's feelings for her and assumed his entire mindscape. I see her point, but girl, you're wearing a Kingdom Hearts fit, don't go around thinking you're some kind of wise all-knowing telepath.
Honestly, they have a lot of chemistry, and it's nice that mc's kindness is finally appreciated by someone. Store brand Miyu is thicc and a fun tease, but she's very condescending and hung up on real Miyu.
The fuck, the guy gives a half-assed apology and that's it? The coach seriously should have kicked him out of the training camp, if not the volleyball team itself.
Oh wait, athletes are always excused for their awful behavior 😒
So the villainess contributed nothing towards advancing the plot, her yandere boyfriend saves the day, and the opening pages with the compelling friendship was all a lie...
The evil heroine had amazing expressions, though
Imagine if the goddess lady was lying and OL didn't actually die, and now a haughty noble girl is living in the modern world?
Please authors, make it happen!!!!!
Love a girly who knows what she wants and goes for it. Best proactive protagonist in a while.
One small aspect I really liked was the dad, who is clearly close to his daughter and uses his position in nobility to find her an appropriate partner.
