Such a great ending for a fantastic manga. :') I'm sad there won't be any more updates to look forward to, but at least the anime adaptation will help fill some of that void. I was expecting this chapter to be longer, at least to address things like Chilchuck's family and Izutsumi's curse. But...

This sounds like the perfect set-up for a vengeful and angry god. The level of indifference Phos's former gem comrades has for him is just inhuman, but I guess that's the point. Human nature and immortality makes for a disastrous combination.

Noooo save the slugs! The Admirabilis are delightful, I don't want them to go extinct. :[ A better solution would be to invent some kind of synthetic compound with a biologically favorable uptake compared to gem pieces, so the gems are naturally replaced within their bodies and excreted.

Bort's hair was so iconic. RIP. It's really touching to see the Gems back on earth coax Sensei into becoming more like their companion than their leader.

Cairngorm looks much better without the powder. I'm happy for him and his budding sense of individuality but that prince is bad news.

Gonna be wild when I revisit this series with the knowledge that the mysterious Moon People don't attack at night because of labor unions, of all things. Also, Lunarian architecture reminds me of those neat Hopper crystals formed by bismuth. I'd love to see the moon in color.

Suddenly, there's an antagonist!?

Chilchuck's daughters all seem great. It's a bit strange how he and his blonde wife managed to produce a kid with such dark hair, but maybe halfling genetics work differently. That, or hair dye is a thing. Speaking of, I hope he and his (ex?) wife get some sort of closure before the series ends.

Ignoring the brain dead elf in the background, this was a very comfy chapter. It's great seeing the party together again. Ahh, now I'm craving Peking duck...
