@Dragonfirewings exactly, it’s trying to make plotpoints and emotional drama that it totally hasn’t earned with set up and taking time. A lot of manga do this nowadays and when they don’t build it over time it just becomes cringe to read imo.

I want a spin-off called “Mr. villain’s day at work” where he is actually is evil and when people ask him why he says “cause it’s my job”. Feel like it would fit his character and juxtapose his “cause it’s my day off really well.

It's OK for now, but chapter three tried to do something that should be an arc in one chapter, the pay-off is way better when it's built up.
