I'm glad they didn't go total happy slice of life food manga route, having rich backstory for all the characters just make them more interesting than before, I still want more SoL element though but this manga have manage to balance both serious story and SoL elements really well so far

Nah it won't, unless it's a hentai or incest labeled works most manga won't dare to breach the same blood relationship. Usagi drop barely pass solely because it's not daichi's blood daughter.

Wait, spirit power can't be used outside of dungeon? But in chapter 2.1 we got visual of monster attacking outside the dungeon and people with spirit power battling them at cities, this manga got nice art but what the heck is this contradiction in the story.
