The author wrote themselves into a corner. Of course the idea of an MC employing traps to kill would fail when you make the villain so freaking powerful they smash through his traps like cookies that you then force a plot armor to bail the MC out. And not even mention all that extreme gore...

Most Isekai authors don't know how to extend the story beyond their intial concept so they just make whatever that pop up in their mind, usually slice-of-life building simulator because those are simple.

They need to learn what pacing means but I guess that's a trade off for having colored pages.
