Not even mad with this ending but I have been disappointed with chainsaw man for awhile now.
This ending still makes me feel nothing. This feels like burnout to me more than anything.
Hope his next work is better.
I was really hoping that the author was going to make me care about anyone in this manga besides Lilly. Now I couldn't care less about anyone here.

OG star wars was better due to having actual directors (even then I would say 6 isn't that great on a rewatch). I do agree that an editor is very necessary during a creative process. "Keep your hands off eizouken" highlights this relationship very well.
I get where you are coming from. But I really like the unstoppable force (noa) vs the immovable object (rihito) situation. Watching them both try and work on their relationship when both of them suck at communication for the complete opposite reason is my main enjoyment out of this series.
