@Chrona Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but it was stated in Ch. 95, the same time that it was revealed that they all had to be rank 4, that Harvest Festival and the Music Festival were their last chances to raise their rank before the end of the semester.

I think I'm seeing Iruma's actual path to be Demon King. He's going to earn the respect of the children or family members of the 13 Crowns, the ones who will inherit their positions. He's already gotten a couple like Amelie, Alice, and Sabnock(though Sabnock still wants to be Demon King himself).
