Still getting stronger in a story that doesn't have any threats to use his power against... I don't see the point. Might drop this soon if there isn't any stakes escalating.
Might just be this particular bloodline that's ready to throw down at the drop of a hat. The warriors of the southern(?) elf tribe seems to have a lot of bitch in their hearts in comparison to the Maple clan.
I wonder why we need power scaling in the first place? There haven't really been many physical threats in the manga aside from a few thugs and a chimera
Surprisingly, I think Captain Sarel is the one with the singular brain cell, considering he's the only one smart enough to recognize how bad of a plan that was.
At this point, how many adventurers in this country haven't at least heard of The Bloody Bear? Not buying that a girl her size is the infamous new adventurer is one thing, but not having heard of her seems lacking on their part for entirely different reasons.
Frieren had obvious story arcs though. This story is more meandering and steady in comparison, so I'm not sure how or where they'd choose to end a season.
I haven't really been a fan of Stewart from the start, but I'd forgotten that he's technically her uncle. Definitely tanked my opinion of him as a love interest. Hopefully the knight takes the lead, or maybe this earl they're introducing, but I don't have much hope considering how these stories...
