The chapters the way we have them here were made up by the scanlator anyways. A couple of early days have two separate holiday strips on it that the translator choose to combine into one chapter. so if you just count creatively enough you can get to the right number.

i would assume some sort of lore relevance, but given that the maga has let me down so often before its probably just a joke. its so annoying how the initial letters in the first three months keep making you assume every joke has a hidden meaning and the manga then proceeds to not deliver on that.
