Thanks for the chapter :D I'm curious to see where this premise can be taken. Based on this first chapter, I'm fairly optimistic. I think the mangaka has what it takes to write stories with substance: I don't usually become this invested in a few characters after one chapter.

I'm glad that we spent some time on the doctoring stuff; the value of life is a major part of this manga, after all. Haiji's solution to a problem he cannot solve was nice: even if it is cancer we are talking about, patients can still be cared for.
