Yeah, for the premise of breaking off a 10 year relationship to work you have to really sell it to the audience how hard continuing it is, unfortunately this story doesn't really succed in that by not showing our main couple experiencing pressure, except for pne of their mothers pressuring her...

With the context that this was the ending it makes the idol group suddenly breaking up a couple of issues back makes a lot more sense
