In what ways is it changed that it doesn't resemble the original? the lines that were complained about in this thread were addressed and the explanations seem perfectly reasonable IMO, unless you have some other examples it still comes off as overblowing it

I interpreting it as both, the kiss was real and served as inspiration for the novel

Predicting it now, it's going to turn out they didn't have sex and they were naked because she threw up on them or some shit. I've seen this kind of thing before and it's purposely left ambiguous enough for the MC to agonise over it but also reveal the FL didn't rape her when needed.

Was that disclaimer out there by the author? I thought it was from the scaltor group, though maybe I'm wrong.

Absolutely phenomenal, even as someone who isn't familiar with Touhou it's really good, although the amount of characters introduced each chapter is really daunting. The pacing for the romance development is also really good.

A really fun one, probably my favourite out of this anthology. Loved the twists on the formula that the "commoner" heroine actually had the most political power and the "villainess" tried to be nice but couldn't help herself and came off as a bully.

Looks like the last conflict before the ending is going to be Nico finally feeling with his feeling around Keichi, I'm glad it will finally be addressed and not brushed over

Alright, even though there were some hints that could be interpreted this way before hand this chapter really sealed it for me that Maya is meant to be trans, even though the story doesn't address it directly.

Based Hidesuke forcing them to actually talk. I haven't thought about it before but Maya didn't treat him the best right? I'd have to reread with that in mind to fully understand but her coming to him every time she has doubts about Amamiya despite knowing both of their feelings does come off...

I'm personally surprised how much I enjoy their roles as "romantic rivals". I think it's because they don't act as obstacles or excuses to extend the story, quite opposite in fact since their existence pushes the plot forward and forces the main couple to sort their shit out, Amamiya in particular.

Interesting that Maya's currently facing the same feelings that Michiru was facing earlier, though it's more legit in her case since it happened before. They both want to spend their future together but are afraid that the other is going to get snatched away, ideally they would talk about it...
