That would be wonderful. But I wouldn't be shocked if the last chapter (like a wordless epilogue) was 109.
Nice to finally have concrete confirmation about whether Ienaga is trans or just an okama. (She's trans. Okama are gay men in dresses, think like "fulltime drag queen", and that's why it's very transphobic and offensive to equate the two or to call a trans woman an okama.)
Sadly I think this...

僕 is "neutral" but also masculine. (Think of it as "how little boys say I".)
私 is absolutely neutral. It's also very boring and very formal. (iirc Dia uses this near exclusively.)
俺 is VERY masculine. To the point of being offensive in many contexts.
A Japanese man would use any and all...
Page 8 should probably be translated as "If you don't even... [pray]" instead of "If you weren't here..."
Given the previous pages of "pray damnit pray", I'd think that makes more sense for what "おまえさえいなければ" is meaning.
I'm torn, being a Native American... I feel for the Ainu position in society for I and my people are in the same boat...
But I also don't want Asirpa to wind up like myself either. But then if not her, then who?
Though as this is historical fiction, it is inevitable that she will not take up...
@Beregorn That's some black and white morality you're sporting if you think Asirpa is the only good person because she's never killed anyone or been to jail.
@Nutfiend
I've noticed that certain people out there LOVE this type of character. I am reminded of Gin from Bleach, where Kubo's intent was literally "rapist"... but the fangirls loved him. I suspect there's a societal thing at play with it, since the majority seems to be straight women... but...

That is some hardcore white apologetics and revisionism you've got there. But what do I know, I'm just one of the Kanienkehaka of the Haudenosaunee. The Truth is that the reason why we have been subsumed is due to trusting kenraken. Even in 2018, kenraken are breaking treaty after...
