You are what You do. Even if it's been a mask, if that's the way she uses to act for maybe several centuries now, that's what she's gonna be used to (which you can see both here and in her spinoff, by how she reacts to things, and what conclusions she jumps to - that she has to actually force...
Ye, but Lucoa's not a determined fighter. Instead she's airheaded and constantly focuses on not using too much raw power, rather than worrying about the application. The only thing we saw her being serious, was when she was hunting the catgirl (in the flashback).
That's more like, her sister's imagination.
I dunno if she was doing that on purpose, or she genuinely believed things work that way (as she's shown to be way more sex-minded than Lucoa is).

From what we've got in the past chapters:
1. She wants anybody
2. Most demons are scared of her
∴ She'll aim for a Demon who wouldn't be scared of her
And someone high in either ranks, nobility, or both wouldn't be likely to.
Neither Elma nor Fafnir were focused, so her catching them off-guard (and them getting back up almost as quickly) is reasonable. We've seen that in Tohru training with Fafnir, and whn Elma first came into the comic, how easily distractable they are. On the other hand Tohru's first instinct when...
Reminder that Tohru willingly challenged said god multiple times (even if Lucoa treated Tohru delicately), and if Lucoa ran into her, instead of Elma and Fafnir, she probably wouldn't let herself be "grounded" with one hit like so.
Also we get confirmation that the weirdo service worker girl is...
Where the "folded" map touches, things can go from one closed "area" to another (or be in two places at once), even though they shouldn't.
How the map is folded is a matter of perception. When he erases them, he unfolds the map where they are
...I think.
