Yeah, I remember thinking about this a lot when I was trying to translate it. I'm a native English speaker, but had a hard time naturalizing the dialogue to be more clear while not changing the meaning too much.

Came here just to thank the English scanlators for completing the series! Sad that it's over, this was a genuinely enjoyable series (though the author's art style definitely has room for improvement).
