@Mangareader jiu ji tae’s style is just like Maria’s we learned that in the fight with young in the sewers. He turned into a striker that uses his jiu jitsu when he fights a truly strong opponent. His great kinetic vision is still there too that’s why he can fight groups of people by himself...
@Commontruth The school cast didn’t go anywhere though. The purpose of this arc was for Maria and jiu ji tae to go to the fight club so jiu ji tae can get more experience so he’ll be able to win next semester in the fight class. Things did not go to plan however and Maria ended up in the...
@Slapabear I think he started having a growth spurt once he started working out. Because he’s taller then Maria now when he wasn’t at first makes since because he is still 16.
@BasilD I think Jiu ji tae definitely went there to help pay Maria’s hospital bills. Because if you go back to the scene the doctors state that she’s fine but still won’t wake up. Meaning she is going to be at the hospital for an indefinite amount of time. Which is why jiu ji tae decided to call...
mylastchance89 really out here analyzing the story I didn’t think about so wol and company also being apart of this but everything fits into place so perfectly when you think about it.
@VENU5 I mean not really how would jiu ji tae face his monster martial arts prodigy of an father while being an crackhead. I honestly can’t see it he’d probably get dropped from one punch lol. Not to mention Maria would literally beat the shit of him for doing that because that’s her partner.
The goofballs and the students are the ones that made everything boring for me. Although they were entertaining at times. I’m happy they are showing jiu ji tae going through training so he can enter fight class 3 and hopefully find his sister at the end.
@WillLi I know I’m sounding like a broken record but , Ji-Tate’s training arc is far from over. You really can’t say the author skipped over the backstory of Ji-tae when he might reveal what happened 2-3 chapters from now. As of right now you’re right he might have glossed over the information...
@WillLi In my opinion it doesn’t ruin anything at all. The author is withholding important information to reveal it at a later time in the arc. Instead of showing what happened and jumping right into the action with ji-tae trying to enter the fight club. He did something similar with Maria. Her...
@WillLi to be honest we’re only 7 chapters into ji-tae’s training arc. It’s obvious the Author is going to show what happened before he heads back to the school.
@cadaver_maneuver In my opinion I have seen some manga or Manhwa do this. Where they introduce the Mc in the beginning of an arc after they had gone through some kind of transformation to let the reader wonder what happened, and then put the backstory in the middle or end of the arc to show what...
