That would be kinda a weak twist, since then why would he be so scared of letting her take the blindfold off? No mention is made of any other characters he might be trying to protect from her, so it seems like he’s only keeping her blindfolded for his own safety.

In fairness, the person who she’s trying to kill is someone who bought her as a slave. Not saying she wouldn’t try to kill others, just saying that in this instance it’s fairly understandable.

Ah man, I’m so glad this arc is finally getting adapted, but damn does it also give me crazy amounts of anxiety. Them having to deal with human villains instead of just weird monsters really makes it hit a lot closer to home.
