16 years ago, the streets weren't crowded to the point of having traffic jams every 2 minutes. Oh and there were more underaged or people in general on bikes and motorcycles, cars were way less common.
During Tet, nearly all people go back to the countryside, myself included, which leaves most roads unattended, reminding me of those times when I can zip around the unbuilt empty streets without encountering a single soul.
Now, everywhere is packed tight, rush hour 24/7, whenever I want to be somewhere, I have to take off 1-2 hours early just to arrive on time.
