I gotta apologize for the tone in my previous post. The general sentiment amongst anime/manga fans that an ending where a couple doesn't end up together is a bad one just got to me that day hah.
Lol are you slow? Just because they don't stay together, get married and grow old together the story was for nothing? Jesus man I'd actually be so depressed if I went through life the same way you do.
There's a sequel and they don't end up together. The story's main focus was never on them...
If an author knows their series is gonna get cancelled they have to wrap it up the best way they can, so I don't think it's a matter of them not being able to write something consistently engaging.
Is it just me or does the pacing feel a bit off in this serialized version compared to the webcomic? Like everything is moving too quickly without anything really happening.
I didn't get the impression that he was implying that he wanted to be a girl, and the only phrases that would imply that are quotes from a book that he didn't write. Maybe he just identified with those specifically because they alluded to his relationship with sex rather then his relationship...
His life sucked pretty hard before his mother came back into his life though. I feel like them reuniting actually did him more good then if they wouldn't have.
