    sometimes I wonder why we still haven't planned to build a space colony and use it as a larger checkpoint for space travel yet?

    Honestly, it's sounds safer & more reasonable + still has those exciting sci-fi shit than just go straight from Earth to Mars where anything could go wrong in the worst way possible

    I don't know shit about this but I'm assuming it's just cause moving the amount of material necessary wouldn't be worth it, at least right now. It does seem like a good thing tho if we do plan to do the whole colonize mars thing

    @UnnamedPlayer pretty much has the same line of thought I do, I think. There might be something cool on one of the moons of Jupiter, but most of our solar system is kind of crap for 'let's build a colony here.' Send the robots out to poke around, and if/when we get drives that make travel to someplace worthwhile feasible in generations rather than geologic ages, then we can take a look at serious space exploration.

    Well, NASA and similar orgs are planning to go return to the moon, and a moon base would be just what you described. The problem is that public will to go to space basically flatlined after the Cold War, and the US is too busy giving billions to billionaire CEOs to give any money to NASA.

    I hope i can escape this by delaying windows updates for a while.

    And i'm pretty sure anti-trust may have a word to say about that, at least for the promotion of microsoft apps/software in its own OS. And European and american anti-trust are waking up since a year, after decades of sleeping, so i'm pretty sure that kind of stupid joke won't last long.

    Not sure this will get played as an anti-trust issue if Microsoft opens up that advertising to third party apps. Particularly in light of how the initial US ruling on Internet Explorer was basically walked back to being toothless once the appeals worked their way through.

    I kinda wanna watch Precure, so... :

    • I also heard HS added boy in the main roster: what's the reason for that? Like, did girls ask for it? Did they try to cater to boys who were watching Precure just to wait for Kamen Rider (uhh, is that the case? Since Precure aired before Kamen Rider in Japan)? Or they just want to try new gimmicks?

    I can't answer most of those questions but I'm morally obligated to recommend the OG, Futari wa Precure. It's kinda generic at times but it's the Precure that has the most action and oomf to the battles compared to the newer ones. Also I just think Nagisa and Honoka have the best chemistry/friendship out of all the Precures.

    How to buy AAA games in 2024:
    • Wait for a review
    • Wait for 6–12 months and see if they fixed everything
    • Clean your backlogs (if you have one) while we wait for it
    • Buy it on sales

    Or…
    • Wait for pirated version
    • If you like the game, buy it to support the devs/publisher
    • If the devs keep DRM BS on the game, Keep playing the pirated one (assuming you don't play online MP)

    Also : be wary of the early reviews, especially on youtube or on metacritic. Wait a few weeks/months to let the hype die down and reviews to be grounded on reality. Ideally, wait for a full let's play to see the gameplay yourself, or better : demos, if there is one. Yes, it's very rare for AAA games, but it may exist.

    Or just don't buy nor pirate modern AAA games, they're all shit nowadays. I'm pretty happy with my boomer-shooters, do the same kiddos !
