Yeah my comment was after a chapter was put up of said series that called out the situation. Mainly the having 20 chapters lined up so don't compete with us or it'll be a massacre comment literally just before dropping it after 2 chapters. Was less about the drop and more about that tbh.

Kinda lack luster, so many plot points and character lines just skipped over or forgotten, almost no relationship progress shown after they finally got together. Feels like it ended way too early with a lot of content that was setup but left hanging. Really liked the series too.

Also multiple groups working on the same series almost never happens because it doesn't make sense. There's like 2 cases where a translator is working on a series either 1: series doesn't have a translation or 2: redoing badly translated chapters from MTL groups Think I've seen 3-4 cases...

People shit on UTOON/Manwhafreak for how they handle series in general alongside the shitty mtl and schizo censorship they do on a series on a whim. Shit mtl is not contributing as it does nothing positive for a series, and that along with sniping can actively make series die out since some translators will just drop series due to it. What doesn't do anything is going around spamming "thanks for the translation" on series you don't read...

Imagine thanking snipers for uploading chapters that were already on the site for a couple days from the ones actively doing the series.

Thanks for the chapter. Ain't kidding with that "We need proofreaders" recruitment in the end card though both the first page typo and lines dotted throughout the chapter were in need of some proofreading.

It's one thing to fan translate and ask for donations or have a few on site ads to keep it running but putting someone else's legal work you don't own behind a paywall is hyper scummy add to that they were inconsistent as hell unlocking chapters, I watched some chapters be locked for months...

Paywalling content along side editing out stuff they consider fanservice form series they did (like editing the actual page content), it's just hyper scummy actions considering the amount of groups that don't do that stuff.

I sure hope they're a dead group since it's one thing to have mediocre to bad translations, it another to literally censor chapters you do, removing many things you consider "fanservice" that you can still find in the raws, and then to put some of those edited chapters behind paywalls? Real...
