The fact that they're both about enthusiastic eccentric mute ladies interacting with normie dudes, would be my guess.

Wasn't his drink some foul concoction his friend made for him?

Another volume so soon? You're spoiling me.

Huh. I was considering dropping this once the raws had caught up if nothing particularly interesting happened, but I guess that works too.

My dad was big into cigars when I was younger, and it's the same for me. Fresh smoke is nice, but stale smoke not so much. It was always the worst when I'd go to a live show at a venue that allowed smoking inside. By the end of the night it'd be clinging to my clothes and hair. It's entirely...

I was wondering when that junk they stole was gonna come up.

It's been a minute but did that "friendzoning in elementary" thing for Yuzu come up at literally any point before this? I don't remembering seeing that, but I can't say I really care to reread this to find out.

I'm still gunning for this resolving into a somewhat stable five sense polycule, but we'll see how it goes.

I really can't wait to see his face when the tables turn.

So does he think she's still on his side after what he did to her nanny or something?

Right? It's so insane, but so cool. I don't envy the ones that have to clean and redraw them.

I've always been a complete sucker for fake heroes becoming real heroes, and I guess that also applies to their swords.

All I can think while reading all these speech bubbles is that it must be an absolute nightmare for cleaning and redrawing.
