I didn't really care about the main story. It didn't take itself serious enough for my taste. But this backup story is really great. It shows an aspect of Japanese society that is usually kept hidden and not talked much.

I think Keun ends up hiding Erika's body under false name so it won't be cremated. Then in present day Nova will tell Gally that he needs some cells from original body to heal Erikas brainwashing and so Gally needs to find the body Keun hide all those years ago.
