I am in another world. Completely different food culture. Completely different flora and fauna. But what's this? Some random street vendor has AUTHENTIC TRADITIONAL JAPANESE FOOD??? What's this? RICE?? What is this? SOY SAUCE AND MISO???
Man, hasn't this troupe played out enough already...
Yeah, the biggest problem, imo, is that this is a monthly. A 6 chapter flashback released over 7 months heading to an already revealed conclusion, especially in an arc lacking the MC, is going to drag like crazy.
My goodness, this eternal virgin MC. Over and over, nearly every isekai, the same old crap. "I don't kill, no matter what". "I have to make sure I don't touch and girls, or let the touch me." "Slavery is neat, yo." Like, bruh, this naïve bullshit would never work outside of poorly crafted...
Wild what her character has become. She was waaaay more interesting as a young mother who lost her first love and accidentally fell in love with a younger guy. All the chapters about her doing normal things like dates and realizing how much she loved Rentarou were great. Now all we get is this...
I really like the concept of this series. That said, the story moves at a snails pace, the MC is hoarding far too much important information, and all the action since he arrived at the city (excluding the incredible Akuma fight) has happened with absolutely no trace of the MC. If it was more...
So many of these revenge series lose their drive so quick. I still enjoy this series, but we are always running full speed towards redeeming the shits that kicked the MC out or tried to kill him. Oh well, hope this arc is fun at least
Manga pill has the pages. Took forever to find a site that had them https://mangapill.com/chapters/3305-10077000/ore-no-genjitsu-wa-ren-ai-game-chapter-77
I still can't get over the weird sexual tension between MC and his grandma. Like, the hell is that all about? Dude is all happy to have family back in his life, yet they keep having these normal romcom Doki Doki moments. Like, bruh
100% agree. Especially because in the future the elf is wearing a sarashi. I thought is was pretty obvious... Not sure if the TL is going out on a limb with the gendered pronouns, or if the elf is intentionally referring to themselves as male here.
