I've been gradually transitioning to the "Gensoukyou" spelling in my own use, since it was the one we went with for EoSD New Classic and I feel like at least I have to commit. Having to choose between two kinds of consistency, I've decided to keep the Gensokyo spelling in all the ongoing series...

I wondered about that too, and assumed that it had to be what Sakuya meant by them going to bed early. Seeing as the author made a point of it being rare for Sakuya to be out alone at night specifically.

Timeline-wise, this seems to be continuing directly where the final bonus pages of Love-Colored Boundary left off. I don't expect them to be too directly connected, but anyone seeing this might as well go read that while we wait for this one to get rolling! Hope this turns out to be more...

I definitely think the whole manga spent maybe the first few chapters, tops, meaningfully pretending to be a "detective story" in terms of genre and structure (rather than simply the subject), and even in those chapters it was only pretending, as most of the apparent clues in the first case also...

You just know that "Oh, okay." became a life-long inside joke for them.

Volume 2, as in, the book compiling the already published chapters 7-11. Azmaya made a tweet explaining/announcing the end last month.

Just another hiatus. Both ZUN and the artist have been pretty clear that it's continuing, but I haven't seen any indication of when.

If we assume that Mizuchi and the Fortune Teller's deeds are equally punishable, then presumably the difference would be that the Hakurei shrine maiden knew (or more...?) Mizuchi and didn't want to just annihilate her.

Hime = princess, joshi = woman, himejoshi = female yuri fan. Supposedly derived from the name of the yuri magazine Comic Yuri Hime.

Of course Kaguya would be a himejoshi.

Right. Popping in to say that there were indeed a couple embarrassing mistranslations on my part here, namely on pages 8 and 18. The chapter's been updated to fix those now. Most notably, the part about how the Miyadeguchi were scapegoated as traitors against humanity and the Hakurei, not...

This is the latest chapter released so far. The schedule is irregular and dependent on Ashiyama's other projects, so any future chapters will be translated when they happen to come out. Thanks for reading so far! This series is probably somewhat niche, but it was a big passion project of mine...

Yeah, I also thought that it's a pretty weird idiom from a weird story. But that's what happens with 2300-year-old books sometimes, I guess.
