    Ohhhh okay that makes sense The Demon King is literally just a kid who was forcibly grown into an adult but his mind is still a kid. I understand why his character is like that now but that does not make me hate him less. I still hope he dies in a fire or something.

    Nah, Mary Sue, true to her name, survives the attack with minor injuries (if she took any damage at all). Her powers arent from Being X, but every single god that exists OTHER than Being X. Including the Author. To survive and eventually defeat Tanya is her sole purpose, as it is already written.

    Wow. I would never have thought this far. I only assumed the Oni here was just allegory of displaced humans ravaged by war and famime. Never really made the connection to race conflict.
